Tequila Mexican Restaurant in Gulf Shores

Favorite Mexican restaurant. We have them many around here, but this one is number 1. Anytime we have big party or bunch of kids they are easy to work with and always take good care of us! And food, Food is just outstanding!!!

Prices are amazing! Wednesday is $2 margaritas. Staff amazing . We are from out of town and this was the 1st place we've been to since this stupid virus . Was skeptical but was very happy and very please . Our portions were very nice sized.

Was told that it was half price margaritas then because I wasnt hungry they switched price to full price margarita not that good service not that good of a margarita

The service was really slow. Our waiter forgot many things. The food was okay, not as good as it has been in the past.

Food was okay but overpriced. Wouldn't highly recommend.

Food not that great kinda expensive and the drinks water down I will try it again but for now one star

Absolute worst Mexican meal I have ever had. 1. Margaritas were not good, no salt and tasted like Kool aid. 2. Salsa was so loaded with onions it was ridiculous. 3. Cheese dip was so spicy we could not eat it, waitress told us she knew it was too hot due to bad jalapeños. 4. Shrimp in fajitas tasted like it was at least 6 months old, could not eat it. Chicken had no flavor and steak was too tough to eat. Nachos meat was like meat from a can. overall a total failure. We live 1 mile from this place and will not be back.

Great customer service, fantastic food, and you definitely get your money's worth. Everything was great all around.

After searching all over for a late dinner around 930pm, they were kind enough to take us in so close to closing time. The food was great, nice and hot. Cheese dip to die for. Great customer service, never felt rushed. Definitely a great family friendly place. Thanks again.

Love the food here. Some of the best salsa on the island. Great food portions for your money. The service is always on the slow side so not the perfect place if you're in a hurry, but worth the wait.

Located in a strip mall with convenient parking and fast service if you are craving Mexican after a beach day.

Great staff, food, TV s with sports to watch, or quiet area for romantic dinner. Your choice. Good is great, fast hot. Good vegetarian options

Just happened in on 99 cent margarita's Wednesday. Great drinks and really good food!

Poblano peppers are my favorite here as is the taco salad and the lunch specials! Very reasonably priced, great sweet tea, friendly service!

Very bad service. They fail to mention that the half price margaritas is only valid with food purchase.

The food was yummy and the service was very friendly. The margaritas are huge, we only got a medium but I have no idea what the large looks like. The place is cutely decorated with a Mexican ranchero style. Would definitely go again if there was one closer to home!

Not my favorite but it's all right

Worst experience ever. The place is dirty with left over food stuck to table and on the floors. The restroom has no toilet paper or paper towels. The tortilla was very soggy and just plain boiled chicken with no flavor thrown in a tortilla. I will never go back.

Don’t recommend. They had maybe 3 tables full and about 7 workers hanging out around the door. Place was dirty, service was horrible, food was just ok. Don’t waste your time or money.

Horrible experience here, waited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were even there to take our drink order.. the staff just kept walking by and ignoring us. Finally just walked out and found another Mexican restaurant down the street.

Fast Service and good food came here on vacation may re visit again.

When we first arrived, they seated us..After about 10/15 minutes they finally brought us our salsa n chips.We sat there for about 20 more minutes without any recognition. Mind you we was pretty much next to order.They seated two more tables and at this time we are still sitting as if we are not there.They skipped us and go to the table that came in after us.Mind you we was a party of 9.So we stopped a waitress and we was told that someone else would get our table .SO WE LEFT!!!BAD SERVICE PERIOD

Very disappointing since they've changed hands. Everything, including the guacamole, was way too salty. Our server spoke very little english. So if you gave a number with no changes you would good. We live so close it was convenient. This was the second time, but never again.

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama! I have eaten here several times and the food is always delicious, and the service staff is always friendly and do whatever they can to try to make our visit Pleasant! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Gulf Shores area!

Wow! Incredible service, went in when it wasnt super busy, they were understaffed but was seated immediately! After a long busy day we were all famished, we kept requesting food and drinks non stop, super friendly and extremely willing to make things happen. And if you like spicy salsa, request the spicy salsa!! Incredible. Food was amazing, and cheap! $89.55, with tip, that includes multiple alcoholic beverages!

Let me start off by saying the food was really good but we had problems after problems , Took 15 minutes for us to get drinks which the drinks were good , our server got the kids meal wrong bad service great food. They need to change their grease fries , and chicken tenders were awful again food was good other than fried food but service was awful

Amazing food and service; will go back. The same guy also owns El Toro and Habanero's. Can't wait to try the other 2 places

Not bad! I keep my expectations low for a strip center restaurant, but we got good food and service. Glad we went.

I called my order in... waited 45 minutes to get my order. Our chips were nasty, We ordered Chicken fajita. The wraps were hard & Nasty and the chicken fajita taste it raw.

The inside is very colorful and our waitress was very attentive. I ordered the Tequilas Grilled Chicken and it was delicious! I recommend this place to anyone in the area! Will be coming back.

Food was Excellent. Service Was Great....

I’ve never been in someplace so disgusting that serves food!! It was filthy. We didn’t even get a drink order after waiting for 25 minutes. Service was terrible and they maybe had 5 tables full at the time. Awful. Rude.

The food was good. It just took our waiter a second to get with us when there was only two other tables in there.

Had the steak fajitas from the lunch menu. It was good, lots of grill onions, green peppers and tomatoes.
